Editing Rules

From Bella Sara Wiki

Here on the Bella Sara wiki we are always looking for new editors! However, there are some rules to abide by when editing. Please read and review these rules first before making an edit.

Rules

  1. Only use confirmed information from the Bella Sara company when placing information on a page. Speculation and inferences may be permissible in minor cases, but should be accompanied by a clarifying statement (ex. "This horse's inspirational saying is based on being happy, so it is assumed that they must be a very happy horse!") Any large speculations or inferences should be run by admins first if you really want to add them. If not approved, please be respectful and keep this information to comments on the page.
  2. Check your grammar and spelling on edits before posting. We all make mistakes! But we want to keep this wiki as professional as possible.
  3. Don't make major changes to the format of a page (ie. don't delete entire sections, remove a gallery, etc.)
  4. Never remove any added media without first uploading it elsewhere. For example, if you remove a large section of the text to clean up a page, it needs to go to another page or in the comments, with a reason why you moved it. Or if you are removing an added image, make sure it is placed on the proper page before doing so.
  5. Do not make duplicate pages.
  6. Do not rename pages without first consulting admins/the community.
  7. Add any page you think should be deleted to "candidates for deletion", but also provide an explanation of why. Without one, it is likely the page will not be deleted.
  8. Don't spam or flood the wiki with unrelated content.
  9. Keep your language kind, clean, and appropriate! Bullying, discrimination, and other undesirable behavior will not be tolerated here. Everyone is welcome!

Edits that don't follow these rules will first be changed back with an explanation by an admin, secondly be discussed with the editor by an admin if repeated, and if it continues to be a problem the editor will face a ban (first temporary and then permanent if need be). But hopefully, it will never come to that!
