Appearance

Momotaro is a tan yearling with dark pink eyes and dark grey hooves. His black mane is tied into a ponytail and pulled back from his forehead with a white band decorated with a picture of a peach. His tail is cut short. On his back, he wears a blanket with yellow trim, a large pink border, and a green center, all decorated with detailed embroidered patterns. He also wears a golden sword in a black sheath, strapped to his back by a single brown leather band. On his legs, Momotaro wears white wraps, also known as kyahan.

Momotaro is a talented fighter, and an adventurous boy! He enjoys traveling with his animal companions.

Animal Friends

Momotaro has three animal friends, a shiba-inu, a monkey, and a pheasant. He gives his friends kibi-dango, and in return they join him on his various adventures!

The Name Game

Momotaro is inspired by the popular folk tale of the same name. In the tale, Momotaro, or Peach Boy, is a young boy born from a giant peach. He grows up to fight a band of Oni alongside his various animal friends. The character is popular in Okayama prefecture, where they claim association to the story's setting. However, it is most likely the tale is more closely associated with Megijima island in the nearby Seto Island sea.
