Appearance

Narmer is a brown hippocamp with a bright blue tail. He has two small tail fins near his rump, and one on the back side of his tail. His fins are bright red with gold and blue designs. Around his waist, Narmer carries the symbol of Egyptian royalty, the crook and flail, in gold with blue and red accents. Around his neck, Narmer wears an elaborate golden collar with red and blue gems, and a large serekh, or royal seal, of his name. His black main and tail are braided, tied with golden clasps at the end. He also wears two black belts and a sheer white sash. His hooves are golden, as well as his eyes, and his neck has three gills on each side.

Narmer is a fierce warrior. He is strong willed, and a natural leader.

Narmer's wife is Neithhotep. He values her wisdom and often looks to her for assistance.

Trivia

Narmer is based off of the historical figure of the first Pharoah of the First Age of the Old Kingdom, of the same name. The historical Narmer's name may mean "painful/angry catfish," and the design of Narmer's fins are meant to reflect that. The seal, or serekh, on Narmer's collar is the actual seal of the historical Narmer.
