Autumn Sands
Appearance
The Autumn Sands is located in the North-east area of the mainland of North of North. It is a desert area, and the homelands of Herd Shahazar.
The area begins near Trail's End, and reaches to the shores of Withers sea at the northernmost edge of North of North. [1] It is mainly sand dunes, which is where it gets it's name, as well as ruined majestic cities carved out of sandstone, and small settlements of humans.
The sands in this desert change color with each season; Red in the Autumn, White in the Winter, Green in the Spring, and Blue in the Summer. Unlike a normal desert, each season in Autumn sands brings not only a new color of sand, but also new weather. Although not as extreme as other areas of North of North, they still experience cold weather in the winter, rainy springs, and so on. [2]
Occupants of Autumn Sands
The horses of Herd Shahazar all make their home in the Autumn Sands. [3]
Also living in Autumn Sands are the Deserée and the Dune Lupines, who actively fight against the horses living there, and seek to drive them out of the desert completely. [2]
