Foals Kickstarter
The Foals Kickstarter was a planned Kickstarter project announced by the creator of Bella Sara, Gitte Odder Brændgaard, on September 20, 2014, on the Bella Sara YouTube channel. The main focus of the project was a new virtual pet featuring Bella Sara horses. The project was likely also meant to accompany the card series "Foals", as similar artwork was used in promotion material for this project. Currently, it is unknown if this project was ever launched, but no records can be found of it outside of the archived interest survey. [1]
Gameplay Description
Specifics about the Foals Kickstarter are unknown, however, some planned aspects of the project were released over the course of 2014 and 2015.[2]
According to the survey, the Foals kickstarter was planned to be a mobile app and web game, in collaboration with 5 Elements Entertainment. The game was meant to be an interactive virtual pet, where the player could grow and care for a foal of their choice, training and honing their skills. Alongside raising your virtual pet, the game would include traveling to North of North on adventures, presumably as you play as a Valkyrie, and building and decorating your own stable.
The game was also planned to have an educational aspect, according to the creator, focusing on positive re-reinforcement and non-violence when raising your foal.
Kickstarter Rewards
As is typical with Kickstarter projects, a series of rewards for financial backers were proposed. These rewards were posted in the survey, and were stated to not be officially binding to the project plan. [3]
