Appearance
Hoss is a large reddish bay draft horse with a white stripe down his nose. He also has a yellow mane and tail. His heavy feathering is the same yellow as his mane and tail, although it appears darker due to shading.[1]
Personality
Hoss is an exceptionally large horse, but it doesn't bother him. He is proud of himself as he is and doesn't mind being different from others.[2]
The Name Game
Hoss is a slang way of writing horse, used to represent the southern United States dialect.[3]
