Appearance
Hawthorn is a white stallion with a curled green mane and tail decorated with red hawthorn berry clusters, four green socks and hooves, and a green muzzle. A single sunflower is nestled in his mane. Lightly etched along his body are green hawthorn leaf markings.[1]
Personality
It may be sad to see good things come to an end, but Hawthorn knows that change can bring about wonderful new opportunities. As the steward of Herd Sunflower, Hawthorn is in charge of keeping Petalhome and its staff in order.[2]
The Name Game
Hawthorn is a type of tree with white flowers and red berries that are often made into jam and other snacks worldwide. In traditional medicine, hawthorn berries are used for aiding in digestion and improving cardiovascular function.[3]
