Appearance
Shasta Daisy is a coal-black filly with an extra-wavy tail. Her mane is tied up into little ponytails with yellow ribbons, and one of them trails two long ribbons that are decorated with daisies. She has four stockings that are made up of daisy shapes and she wears a necklace made of daisies with their stems knotted together.[1][2]

Daisy has many special talents, and enjoys sharing them with her herd.

The Name Game
Shasta Daisy is the common term for the classic daisy with white petals and a large yellow center. The daisy is actually a hybrid produced in 1890 by the American Luther Burbank. The flower is now one of the most popular garden plants in the world.[3]
