Appearance
Solstice is a pink pegasus filly with a bright red, straight mane and tail. Her wings are very pale pink and appear to be made of neat and orderly rows of magical feathers. She wears her herd's symbol around her neck on a red ribbon. Her hooves look bronze.[1]
Personality
Solstice never rushes into things brashly. Instead, she thinks carefully through every decision.
Magical Gift
Solstice is a pegasus, of course, so she can fly. She is also a windwalker, and is able to walk amongst the galaxies.
Relationships
Equinox
Solstice's father is confirmed by the creators to be Equinox.[2]

A solstice is either of the two times in the year when the sun reaches its highest or lowest point in the sky at noon, marked by the longest and shortest days.[3]
