The Castle
Valeryk Castle is a large blue castle made almost entirely of ice! Many of the members of Herd Valeryk enjoy the cold though, so they don't mind. It has many blue turrets, and a single bridge connects the two largest spires. The bridge is perfectly positioned to let sunlight shine through as the sun rises and sets.
The castle is located on the shore of Lake Wintermere, and is in an area perfect for stargazing! There is also a nearby hotspring, one of the only warm places in the area.[1][2]
History of Valeryk Castle
The castle was carved out of ice and stone by Thunder when he summoned lightning with his hooves.[3]
The Horses of Valeryk Castle
The castle is home to Herd Valeryk's royalty, such as King Sleetmane, and Queen Snowdreamer. Many other members of the herd visit and live there as well. Other horses may visit from time to time, but the weather is so frigid there that it is often too cold for them.[4]
