Appearance
Pelagos is a sea-horse of great magic. His mane and tail seem to be made of sparkling sand granules that ebb and flow with the slowly moving currents. If you look closely in this picture, you may see that Pelagos has what look like conch shells in place of hooves. His body is a soft pink with spots of soft moss green. [1]

Pelagos is a gentle soul, and is never brash or loud.
Magical Friend
As a hippocamp, Pelagos is able to swim and breathe underwater. His mane and tail are also held together by pure magic. [2]

Nacreleons
Pelagos' closest magical friend is the Nacreleon. Sometimes Nacreleons hitch rides with Pelagos. Then they go on adventures far from home. Pelagos reinforces the idea that Sara’s magic has seeped into every corner of the world North of North. [2]
