Nuala's closest magical friend is the Tortoise Blondie. Nuala met her friend the Tortoise Blondie she moved into a placid lake. At first, the elder tortoise was put out. She had just moved in without asking! He wasn’t going to put up with such rude behavior and moved to confront the filly. Upon seeing her he stopped stunned. She had the most magnificent, long, flowing, angel-like hair. Now, some years later, the two have become best friends and both share the little lake along with a young family of lotus hedgehogs and a couple of bubble turtles.[2]
