Brigid
“ | Be the kind of person the world needs. | ” |
Appearance
Brigid is a winged hippocamp. Her body is a coral color with a body similar to a seahorse. She has small fins down her back and a translucent fin for a mane. She also has a brighter pink-coral set of webbed wings. [1]
Brigid has one of the most unique sets of appearance and characteristics in North of North, combining equine with serpentine body and tail ridged with dorsal spines and weird bat-like appendages. Though she appears to have wings, Brigid cannot fly through the air. Her wings are actually bony fins, which assist her swimming, acting like oars and propelling her through the water. Though Brigid is not a dragon, she shares many characteristics with those fantastic beasts, such as her wings and dorsal spines.[2]
Personality
Brigid is a kind and helpful horse. She is always helping others and likes to look out for those in need. However, most other water horses fear her and keep their distance because of her strange appearance. But although she may look fierce, Brigid is a very gentle being.[2]
Brigid likes very shallow, warm waters where she can swim over shipwrecks and through sunken cities. She subsists on something called kreel, which is a kind of jelly formed by algae that have cooked and simmered in warm southern seas.[2]
Relationships
Falcha
During the 2008 "Quest for the Lost Horse" event, Falcha could only be unlocked with Brigid's and three other horses' codes.
Magical Gift
Brigid can both swim underwater and fly in the air for short distances with her small wings.
