"Northern Lights"
The "Northern Lights” series is the 3rd Bella Sara set introduced in June of 2007 [1] as a North America and Scandinavia-only release. [2] [3]
Story
Far beyond Earth, on a floating continent surrounded by a sea of light, is the land of North of North where magical horses live under the care of the young goddess, Sara. Many years ago, this land was home to an immortal sisterhood known as The Valkyries who fearlessly protected a world of their choosing. The leader of all Valkyries and Sara's dearest friend, Sigga, adored horses and so chose North of North as her world to protect.
Sigga built Rolandsgaard Castle and began populating its stables with a marvelous herd of magical horses. Of these brilliant horses is a herd named after the colorful northern lights that paint the night sky of North of North: The Northern Lights horses. Sigga personally attended to this ancient herd of horses and many Northern Lights horses have existed long before the Valkyries came to the land.[4]

Trivia
The four promo cards for Northern Lights were inspired by the four legendary treasures of Ireland. [5]
- Erinn is the Lia Fáil stone.

- Brigid is the Coire Anseasc.
As a bonus, Danu's card included all four treasures!
