Inuit

Isleta

You have enough strength and character to face any challenge.

Appearance

Inupiat is a pure black stallion with a black horn, feathered hooves, and a long black mane and tail. Around Inupiat's neck is a white-feathered leather harness with a single white feather beaded on. Half of his tail is bound by a brown strap.[1]

Personality

Inupiat's mental strength and character are remarkably strong and allow him to conquer any challenge he may face.[2]

Relationships

Polar Bear

Inupiat has a special connection to the polar bear. In the Inuit religion, polar bears, or Nanook as they are traditionally called, are worshiped by hunters and are believed to grant successful hunts to those they deem worthy.[3]

The Name Game

"The tribe this steed is based on are located in Northwest Alaska and the Bering Strait. They share a cultural kinship with the Inuit. The name means “real people.” Like the Inuit, the Inupiat are whalers, hunters, and fishers."[4]

Promo Info

"Native Lights"

In North America, Inupiat is a "Native Lights" Promo Card that can be found in the June/July 2008 issue of the Discovery Girls magazine.[5]

Inupiat's card could also have been bought on the Bella Sara Online Store for $5.00.[6]
