Islandar Castle
The Castle
The castle is located deep within the waters outside of the Islands of Equinesia, beyond the coral reefs and the eye of those living on the islands. The castle is made out of various types of coral, seashells, and luna pearls, and is both grand as well as fading into its surroundings well. At the center of the castle is a giant luna pearl, gifted by the people of the Islands to the Herd in friendship, and it is the herd's greatest treasure. [1] The city is lit by glowing sea jewels, and is one of the most spectacular sights in the realm. [2]
As the members of Herd Islandar are all hippocamps, the castle is completely submerged in water. When the pull of the tides is exceptionally strong, the tips of the towers of Islandar Castle can be seen peaking out of the sea. [3][4]
Occupants of Islander Castle
Many of Herd Islandar's royalty live in the castle, such as King Treasure and Queen Edana.
The only known human to ever visit Islandar castle was Miki Vann, who was brought by her horse friend Coral. [1]
