Appearance
Triton is a teal hippocamp with various pearlescent scales and bright orange mane and fins. He is one of the most beautiful waterhorses in North of North.[1]
Personality
Triton is an eternal optimist and always expects the best in any situation.[2]
Magical Gift
As a hippocamp, Triton is able to swim and breathe underwater. They also glow when under the sea, and has the special gift of being able to give optimism and hope to others. [3]

In the Bella Sara game for the Nintendo DS, Triton is described as Jewel's friend.
The Name Game
In Greek mythology, Triton is a god and the messenger of the sea. He is the son of Poseidon and Amphitrite, god and goddess of the sea respectively, and is a herald for his father. He is usually represented as a merman which has the upper body of a human and the tail and fins of a fish.
Like his father, he carried a trident. However, Triton's also had a twisted conch shell, on which he blew like a trumpet to calm or raise the waves.[4]
