Appearance
Amor is a handsome white pegasus stallion with a short matching mane and tail. His outer plumage is ruby red, along with the numerous red ribbons flowing from his mane, tail, and forelegs. Roses of the same color appear to be attached to the base of his tail, and his green hind-leg wraps. Wherever he flies, heart-shaped petals fall behind him.
In "Bella's Ball", he wears a golden face plate with a large red feather attached to the top. [1]
Personality
Amor is a gentle stallion who spreads love wherever he goes. When not out doing his job, he is a dedicated husband to Venus.
Magical Gift
Amor is an winged horse, so he can fly. He also has the unique ability to inspire love in those around him.[2]
Relationships
Venus
Venus is Amor's mate.
Celesta, Cherub, and Pirouette
Amor and Venus have three foals: Celesta, Cherub, and Pirouette.
Cupid
Amor and Cupid are named after the same mythological god of love.
Lovebirds
Amor's animal friends are the lovebirds, which often flock around him and herald his arrival.[3]
The Name Game
"Amor" is a Portuguese word that translates to "love" or "passion". It is also the Latin name for the Roman god of love who is better known as Cupid.[4]
During the concept phase, this horse was named Eros.[5]
Trivia
- Once, Amor was able to spread peace throughout a war torn land. Through "an act of kindness that... reunited a girl with her mother. That singular act of selfless love spread from one person to another, from deed to deed, until the chain finally reached the king of the land who stopped the fighter." [6]
- The two bunnies featured kissing on Amor's card art were made available in player's cottages as a Valentine gift.
- In the updated version of The Bella Sara Ultimate Guide, Amor is misspelled as "Armor."[7]
