Appearance
Embarr is an Irish Cob horse with a coat that is black and white, and his mane and tail are black and white.[1] If you look closely, he has blue eyes. He has yellow hooves. In his original artwork, he wears a leather harness as well as leather cuffs around his front knees decorated with a single blue gemstone each.[2]
Personality
Embarr is bold, happy, and strong. His heart is so full of music, it hasn’t any room for fear.[3]

The Name Game
In Irish myths, Embarr was a magical horse who could gallop over water as easily as land. He belonged to Niamh of the Golden Hair, princess of a fairyland called Tír na nÓg, which means “Land of Youth.”[4] The name means "imagination."[1]
