With Wisdom and Love Above All
~Herd Bellasara's Motto~

High Queen Bella, the first and greatest of horses, rules over all of North of North. All horses everywhere are descended from members of her own Herd Bellasara, named to honor Bella's special bond with Sara, the goddess of horses. But she grants the Order of Bella only to those whose wise minds are matched with loving hearts.[1]

Herd Bellasara has many of the most influential and important horses, including, of course, Bella herself. Many of the Valkyrie mounts, such as Valkrist and Wings, are also a part of this herd. [2]

History of Herd Bellasara

"High Queen Bella, the first and greatest of horses, rules over all of North of North. All horses everywhere are descended from members of her own Herd Bellasara, named to honor Bella's special bond with Sara, the goddess of horses. Bella's wisdom is legendary, and she encourages the horses in her herd to become wiser by trying to understand the world around them. She grants the Order of Bella only to those whose wise minds match their loving hearts." [2]

"Trails End is the home of Herd Bellasara. One of [its] notable landmarks is Rolandsgaard Castle, where Sigga's family and the seat of government are located. The Castle was, and remains, the home of the most famous horse ever, Bella." [3] The realm of Herd Bellasara actually reaches throughout all of North of North, making Bella the High Queen over all territories. [4]
