Appearance
Mjolnir is a chestnut stallion with a creamy white mane and tail, he has a white stripe down his face to his muzzle, which is black. His underbelly is white and his feet are feathered. He has white two white patches on all four of his legs. The stallion also wears a golden necklace with black specks and on the front in the middle of his chest a gold circle is attached with a ruby in the middle. In his mouth he carries a gold and black hammer on a strap, decorated with a single red gem.
As Mjolnir is an Icelandic horse, he is drawn doing a tølt,[1] which is a four-beat lateral ambling gait known for increasing riding speed.[2]
Personality
Mjolnir has a generous heart. He enjoys making others feel loved and feeling loved in return. He is also wise, loyal, and likes to play with his friends on Mount Whitemantle.[3][4]
The Name Game
In Norse myths, Mjolnir was the magic hammer of Thor, god of thunder and lightning. When Thor threw Mjolnir, it always returned to his hand.[5]
