As with many trading card series, Bella Sara cards come in varying forms of rarity and appearance. Here, you can find out what the symbols on your cards mean and how rare your cards are![1]

Booster Cards

All of the following cards can be found in normal booster packs depending on the series.

Common Cards

Common Cards depict one or more horses with an inspirational message and are very easy to obtain.

Rarity: Common (4-5 per booster)
Icon: Common
Used In: "Second Series" through "Baby Bella" (North America). "Second Series" through "Native Lights" (International)

Rare Cards

Rare Cards depict one or more horses with an inspirational message but are more difficult to obtain than Common Cards.

Rarity: Rare (1-2 per booster)
Icon: Rare
Used In: "Second Series" through "Baby Bella" (North America). "Second Series" through "Native Lights" (International)

Energy Cards

Energy Cards are a subset of Rare Cards that do not have horses on them and instead depict horse tack, Magical Friends, Toys, or Treasures. The codes on Energy Cards were used to unlock special digital objects on the Classic Bella Sara Website.

Rarity: Rare (0-2 per booster)
Icon: Rare
Used In: "Bella Copper" through "Treasures"

Regular Cards

Regular Cards depict a horse or human with an inspirational message. Starting in "Spring Carnival", some Regular Cards are oriented sideways.

Rarity: Common (4-5 Regular Cards per booster)
Icon: Regular
Used In: "Bella Silver" through "Bella Wise Warriors". "Treasures" onwards (North America). "Magical Friends" onwards (International)

Story Cards

Story Cards are a subset of Regular Cards that have an illustration on the front and a short paragraph on the backside explaining the events of the series.

Rarity: Uncommon (1 Story Card per booster)
Icon: Regular
Used In: "Bella's Ball" through "Winter Festival" and "Herds from North of North"

Shiny Cards

Shiny Cards are Rare Cards/Regular Cards with foil accents varying in pattern depending on the series.

Rarity: Very Rare (2% chance of shiny per booster)
Icon: FShiny or Foil or SShiny or Foil
Used In: "Bella Wise Warriors" onwards

("Winter Festival" Shiny Cards do not have an "S" before the card number)

Special Cards

The following cards could not be found in normal boosters and were instead included with special merchandise or during events.

Promo Cards

Promo Cards or Promotional Cards can only be found at special Bella Sara Events or in select Merchandise such as Tins, Value Boxes, and Puzzles. You can see a complete list of all Promo Cards here.

Rarity: Very Rare
Icon: Promo, PPromo, or PSPromo
Used In: "Bella Copper" onwards

Lenticular Cards

Lenticular Cards have two interchanging images in the front of the card and a description on the back. Lenticular Cards could only be found in select Merchandise such as Tins and Double Booster Packs.

Rarity: Very Rare
Icon: LPromo
Used In: "Bella's Ball" and "Sunflowers"

How Many Horseshoes Were Each Worth?

According to one guide, each card type in the early series would unlock a different number of horseshoes. [2] The amounts are:

  • Common = 25 Horseshoes
  • Rare = 100 Horseshoes
  • Energy = 150 Horseshoes
  • Shiny = 250 Horseshoes
