"Bella Copper"
The "Bella Copper" series is the third Bella series and was released in March 2006[1] to Denmark, Sweden, and Norway.[2]
This series was the first to introduce Energy Cards and Promo Cards. [3]
Appearance
"Bella Copper" cards are identical to "Bella Gold" cards: gold in color with white stars around the border and a "P" in the upper right-hand corner. The only way to distinguish between the series are the horses that appear on the cards. There are 58 cards in total: 45 common cards, 10 energy cards, and 3 promo cards.[4]
Horses in the original Bella series could only be activated online with the use of the Congratulations Card.
Boosters
"Bella Copper" cards come in booster packs of 10 cards plus a game rules card in Danish, English, German, and French. Starter sets contain three booster packs and a deck case with Bella on the cover. Boosters are also included in the E-Game Starter Box.
The Name Game
The original booster box simply calls the series Bella, the Copper naming comes from the copper colored border on each card.
"Bella Copper" is also referred to by many collectors as "Danish Copper". However, the series was not exclusive to Denmark, nor in the Danish language, making the naming convention inaccurate but still widely used.
Cards
"Bella Copper" cards are unnumbered. For convenience purposes, they are numbered here based on alphabetical order.
